Haemophiliacs Monday 2 February 2004
In the 1970s and 80s nearly 5,000 haemophiliacs were infected with hepatitis C through NHS blood products.

This year the Government announced that payments would be made to those affected. However, widows of haemophiliacs who died before 29th August 2003 will not be eligible for any payment.
Harriet Bullock, whose husband died after being infected with Hepatitis C, Karin Pappenheim, Chief Executive of the Haemophilia Society and Melanie Johnson, Public Health Minister join Jenni to discuss whether enough has been done for those infected and their families.
