Did you really hear from Annie Beag? If so, say hello to her from me, and I hope she is fine.

Annie Beag's 40 kilometres east of Seville at the moment choosing the orange juice for the Bucks Fizz for the opening of next year's fank!

dearest big cal Ah, the joy of the Fank, ah cannie wait. Poor Annie, she could have hitched a lift with the weekly pilgrimage of 'tic fans heading for the toon in the sun. While I'm on, who is this Anne, and has Donald signed her up for the Fank, and of course mother, who sends her regards, and I want to know will she be competition in the knitting stakes.

Knitting stakes, GrannyE? What gigantism has invaded Club Plain&Purrl, that big needles won't do the job just as well?

Sorry I've not been around, my laptop finally croaked so not been online. Looking forward to the fank and hearing from Annie Beag, it's not the same without her! I've started cultivating my nose wart and chin stubble early this year to be at maximum attractiveness for the fank, I think my chances will be greatly increased thanks to my recent purchase of Eau De Guga from emporioalanjohn.com! When's the steering committee meeting? Should you invite yon woman from the ´óÏó´«Ã½ who wants to know what we're doing for Christmas? Even my Mum hasn't started the Christmas emotional blackmail yet!

Eau de Guga? The cheaper concoctions should be left to those on the Scottish mainland, or to the Americans (eh?!). I highly recommend the rather more remarkable (at re-marked prices!) Essence de Guga, available this Christmas season at Harrods.

The cheap version is called Gug33

Love your blog! I heard the Dh’ Ealach has started a new Cycling Club in Ness. The theme of the first lesson is ‘How to stay on your bike in a Force 12 storm, in the dark’. Classes run from 1am till 5am

A cycling club in Ness! - should I be stocking up with bicycle clips and puncture outfits?
alanjohn from lionel ness
Yes, that would be a good idea. I am expecting a few new recruits to my club. Don Don and Dolly Tonn being 2 of them.

Alka Seltzer and Imodium might prove more efficacious in the long run.........
