It's
a challenge for experienced professionals, but for Carl Le-Roche,
Jemma Manchip, Mark Haines and Louis Bye it was a major achievement!
They
were asked to attend the Specialist Arts Schools conference in
South Hill Park in Bracknell on 22nd October and capture a flavour
of the day.
They
used three cameras to film clips and interviews. Editing was done
in the foyer watched at times by up to 60 delegates.
They
were praised by all the teachers watching, commenting on their
professionalism, cheerfulness and complete focus on their work.
The crew began training in June, learning how to film and the
best way to edit.They
now spend every spare minute they can in the media suite, making
films and improving their techniques. "I can't believe it!, said
Carl. " Four months ago I couldn't use a camera and now I can
make a film from start to finish."
