efforts are underway around the South to raise money for the victims of the Asian
Tsunami.

| | Aerobic
Sponsored Workout for the Tsunami Appeal between 7-9pm at Applemore Health
and Leisure Centre, Hythe Southampton. The first hour will be a normal aerobic
class where the public will pay an entrance fee, the second hour 8-9pm will be
free of charge but participants must either have a sponsorship form or make a
donation on the night.Deeply
Connected Concert at the Medina Theatre, Isle of Wight in aid of the tsumani
appeal. Love Songs and Poems for a fragile Earth with Gila Antara and Miranda
Amapola. Also featuring Paul Armfield, Manfred Wilkens & guests. From 7.30pm.
Advanced Tickets £ 6.50 at Box office or £ 7.00 on the door. All profits will
go to the Tsunami Appeal Fund. Southampton
band Delays will be headlining a benefit gig in order to raise money for
the Tsunami victims in Asia. There will be support from: Dead! Dead! Dead! and
The Alaskan Pipeline Plus various DJ's throughout the night. Tickets are £10,
and available by calling - 023 8055 5366. Waterside
musicians and band members are coming together at Fountain Court Hotel, Frost
Lane, Hythe from 7.30pm onwards for 'Acoustic Sessions', a gig to raise
money for the DEC Tsunami Earthquake Appeal with the British Red Cross. Six acts
playing on the evening will entertain an audience with an eclectic mix of original
material and well known covers. People who buy tickets before 1 February will
be put into a prize draw and there will be prizes to be won on the night.Tsunami
lecture INTECH and Portsmouth University will bring an authoritative lecture
on tsunamis and disaster planning to the Science Centre at Winchester at 6.30pm.
The tickets are free but bookings are expected to outstrip demand. The British
Red Cross will be present to collect any donations to the Tsunami Appeal.

up modern magic plus there will be a raffle.The
Chamberlayne Arms in Eastleigh is throwing open its doors for an all day fundraising
event. Starting at 1pm with a wide range of activities and events to suit all
ages. Planned events include fancy dress, apple bobbing and lucky dip for the
children, a bring and buy sale, a raffle and an auction. All donations gratefully
received. During
the day there will also be Pool and Darts Knockouts ands a disco.
Art
for Asia - ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR to be held at Waterside Community Centre,
Brinton Lane, Hythe (in the central car park) from 10am. Organised by the Waterside
Art Group and with arts and crafts donated by local artists. ALL monies going
to the disaster fund. Pictures, hand painted china, other crafts, even a Pictures
for a Pound Section. Demonstrations and lots more.
Family Valentine Disco - Marchwood Sports & Social Club is putting on a
disco in aid of the DEC Tsunami Earthquake Appeal. Everyone involved in this event
is giving their time free of charge to give you and your family a great night
out. From the bar staff to the DJ, all we need to make a great night out is your
support. Come and dance the night away to some great disco classics. For more

A car boot sale is to be held at the Fighting
Cocks public house, Arreton on the Isle of Wight on the 12th February at 11:00
a.m. – 15:00 p.m. (The times are approximate only) This sale is being run by Vectis
Sunrise Rotary club. Big
Band Music Night Holy Trinity Church, West Street, Fareham is hosting an
evening of big band music with Tony Linford's FE Big Band at 8:00pm to raise funds
for the victims of the Asian tsunami. Come and listen to the music of Glen Miller,
Duke Ellington, Count Basie and other big bands. Tickets are available from the
Well cafe and Christian book shop in West Street, Fareham or from the church office
on weekday mornings price £5 for adults £3 for children. Jericho
Road Concert @ De La Salle Theatre, Bournemouth.Award-winning Christian boy
band are performing at this charity concert in Bournemouth... Pop music with a
