It looks like the slums called The Courts in Duke Street park.
The tenants were moved from them on to the new Wybourn and Park
Hill estates.

Looks very like a picture I have of the Scotland Street area.
The library may have it in archive material on Scotland Street Methodist
Church. I will try and find it. The Scotland Street area was at
one time known as "The Fever Dens".
Christine - looks like knowsley place, grimesthorpe. my aunty
mary lived there, my dad was born there.
