Peter Moss
Definitely not Prince of Wales Rd. Near Davy United, those houses don't have comercial buildings behind them, only gardens that streach down to the Carr Brook.

Frank Turner
It is 924 Herries Road, Hillsborough. It was my parents house in the 1950s/60s and was taken over and knocked down to make way for the bus sheds. My Dad made the front walls that you see next to the footpath.

Malcolm Middleton
- looks like bottom of prince of wales road before davy uniteds was built

Steve Bloomer - City Road between Traveller Pub & petrol filling station

plain talker - That property is, IIRC a house called "Rose HOuse" or something very similar. It's on the level bit of city road near the garages, not far from charlie brown's exhaust shop (bottom of cradock rd)

Gareth Parkin - taken at the bottom of prince of wales rd, leading towards darnall

sap - knocked it down for car park some sort of call centre is off to left of picture now "prince of wales road"

David Briggs - Sorry I do not think that the photo is of Prince of Wales Road or City Road. the House on City road is one house with a door in the middle not one at each end as this block has. The set of houses on Price, consisted of two sets of semmies and would not have houses in on the sky line (top right).

carol walker - it looks to me like foxhill road just after the top of wilcox road.

lisa williams - i agree malcolm middleton that house very familuar.

Mark - definately not prince of wales road my grandmother lived in the block of houses near davies (when they were owned by davies) they are now demolished.

Peter Mella - Not City Road. The hill in the left background does not seem to match. The background fits better with the bottom of Prnce of Wales Road but I do not recall the industrial buildings behind the semi.

BoroughGal - I can't say for sure, but thought personally that it may look like somewhere on Woolley Wood Bottom? Bottom of Shiregreen??

Lisa - not city road the hills in the background are wrong.

Keith - Not Prince of Wales Road. Houses there did not have buildings behind them or that skyline.

robert fox - brinsworth bottom/ east bawtry road cross road cafe where vans and cars are.
