ID - s17570
Known info - Unidentified
street, information supplied with photo suggests Ladysmith Avenue,
1947
Jackie Gear - This is definitley Endcliffe Terrace - my great
great grandad was born in the house on the left in 1857.
R.E. Atkinson - Looks like Endcliffe Avenue, some houses belong
to University.
Rita Dobson - I agree i think it is endcliffe ave most of
the houses now belong to the university the first one on the right
going down i'm sure is number 27
A Curtis - It also Looks like the view from the top of Rutland
Park opposite the Bontanical Gardens. The road is loop off Clarkhouse
road and i would suggest that it is the first road as you go into
town. I don;t think it's Ladysmith Ave in S11
Jon - Could be one of the roads off to the right up Manchester
Road (Tapton House Road etc.)
Ewan Armstrong - This looks to me like Coverdale Road from
the top junction with Bannerdale Road. My cousin used to live at
number 10 which was on the right hand side just beofre it bends.
Andrew - This is looking down Encliffe Avenue. From the top
which is now next to Earnshaw Hall of the University.
Chris Hampshire - Andrew is correct. This view is looking
down Encliffe Avenue. From Endcliffe crescent I work for the University
& often attend on this road.
