AFC Telford United have signed former Aston Villa striker Darren Byfield on a six-month deal and brought in Jordan Rose on loan from Stockport County.
Byfield, 35, who has one international goal in six appearances for Jamaica, has over a decade of experience in the Football League.
"We have six or seven injuries at the moment, so I need cover," manager Andy Sinton told
Rose has now extended his loan with the Bucks until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old centre-back has already made five appearances for the Blue Square Bet Premier side this season.
Byfield, who had spent pre-season on trial with Port Vale, made his professional debut for Aston Villa back in 1997 and also had a spell at Sunderland.
"He's experienced, he's quick and a good goalscoring record. He wants to be here," Sinton added.
"Hopefully he's a name that excites people. We like what we've seen in training and thanks to the chairman and board they've backed me and brought him in."
