Hartlepool United 3-2 Woking
- Published
Hartlepool survived a late fight-back to beat Woking and stay four points clear of the National League relegation zone.
Devante Rodney's low strike gave Hartlepool the lead, before Jake Cassidy doubled the advantage when he found the top corner from just outside the box.
Rhys Oates' flicked header looked to have Pools cruising to victory, but Woking scored twice late on to ensure a nervy finish.
Reece Grego-Cox smashed the ball home from close range, and he doubled his tally in stoppage time, heading in from a free-kick close to the corner flag.
But Woking could not find a third goal in the final two minutes, as the hosts held on for a first win in 13 games.
