Wealdstone 0-0 Wrexham: Howes heroics keep visitors at bay
Wrexham slipped off the top of the National League table as they were held to a goalless draw at Wealdstone.
Home goalkeeper Sam Howes pulled off several brilliant saves to keep the visitors at bay.
Howes' best stop came as the game wore on when he reacted to Elliot Lee's deflected shot to thwart the summer signing's threat.
Notts County overtook Wrexham thanks to their 2-0 win at Eastleigh while Wealdstone stayed 14th.
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson:
"I felt in the early stages they were sharper than us.
We looked a tired team in fairness, but we have had three games in six days and they hadn't played in 10 days and you could visibly see that out on the pitch.
"But as the game went on we got better and better and I felt we were the team in the ascendency to go and win it in the end."
