'Excellent' Hamon answering Torquay critics - Wotton

Torquay United manager Paul Wotton says goalkeeper James Hamon is proving his critics wrong.
The Guernsey-born keeper followed Wotton to Plainmoor in the summer from Truro City - his second spell at the club after time on loan in 2021.
Some fans had their concerns about the form of the 29-year-old former Exeter City player early in the season.
But Hamon has helped the Gulls go on a run of conceding just once in five matches including Saturday's 0-0 draw at Boreham Wood.
"I'm really happy for James because he's come in for a little bit of criticism not so long ago," Wotton told ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Cornwall.
"He's gone and kept four out of five clean sheets and I thought he was excellent.
"You can see why he's the goalkeeper for Torquay United. I thought his kicking was great, I thought his decision-making was great and I'm really happy for him because I thought it was unfair what came his way a few weeks back."
