  1. Goodbye - and get set for the 2021 London Marathon!

    After a dramatic day of sprint finishes, the London Marathon comes to an end six months later than planned.

    If you missed any of the elite races, catch up with what happened in this report.

    Don't forget that next year’s London Marathon takes place on Sunday, 3 October – and the ballot for entries is open now!

  6. 'I didn't know I could do this' - Den Boer

    Women's wheelchair winner Nikita den Boer said of her shock victory over Marcela Shar on ´óÏó´«Ã½ TV:

    "I didn't know I could do this.

    "It's crazy times. It's a personal best so I'm really happy.

    "I hate rain. I didn't know what pace we could do so it's really nice to do this."

  7. 'Tough conditions' - Weir

    Eight-time winner David Weir said on ´óÏó´«Ã½ TV:

    "It was very tough conditions.

    "I knew it would be a sprinter's race. I knew Brent Lakatos would be the strongest over the sprints.

    "I gave it my best. I haven't beaten Marcel Hug for two years so that is something.

    "Mentally I thought I would find it tough. I was dreading it because I don't like going round in circles. But it was alright. It was different."

  8. 'I didn't know if I could hold on' - Lakatos

    Men's winner Brent Lakatos said on ´óÏó´«Ã½ TV:

    "The London Marathon is the biggest marathon out there.

    "When they suggested they might have an elite-only race it gave me motivation. My training has gone well all summer long.

    "On the final lap I knew Marcel Hug was right there. I didn't know if I'd be able to hold on but I got lucky."

  10. Den Boer wins women's wheelchair race
    Breaking

    As if it wasn't already a big enough personal best, Nikita den Boer puts in a big sprint finish to cut down her time even more.

    She finishes in 1:40.07. Her previous PB was 1:50.23. Incredible.

    An absolutely incredible performance sees her way ahead of favourite Manuela Shar as she nears the end.

  13. Lakatos wins men's wheelchair race
    Breaking

    A fairly easy win in the end for Brent Lakatos.

    He did most of the work all the way through so it's a deserved win. And somehow, he's got the most left in the tank as well to sprint to the line.

  15. This is such a tactical race. Brent Lakatos has gone out to the front and the rest of the athletes are just waiting to see what happens.

    The men take the bell for the last lap and they are still in a group of six.

    Britain's David Weir, Canada's Brent Lakatos and Switzerland's Marcel Hug are all in the mix.

    This was not at all in the script. The Dutchwoman's personal best is 1:50.23, Shar's is 01:28.17.

    Sad news.

    Britain's Shelly Woods, a two-time champion who is racing at London for the first time in four years since the birth of her son, has dropped out.
