Hyde manager Darren Kelly to ´óÏó´«Ã½ Two: "All we could ask the lads was to match their effort levels. It was a fantastic journey. We were dead on our feet after 60 minutes. Some of MK Dons' play was fantastic. They cut us open.

"In terms of heart, desire and commitment - we were there with them. We train two nights a week and they're full time. Some of their play was fantastic.

"All our home games, we've had 300 fans. Today we had 3,500. The second goal knocked the stuffing out of the players. We had a couple of half chances."

"We've really enjoyed this run. Hopefully our next league game, we'll get some more fans."

MK Dons manager Robbie Neilson to ´óÏó´«Ã½ Two: "It was a terrific night for us. It is a difficult place to come. Hyde were fantastic I thought, but we managed to get through.

"It gives us a bit of momentum. We had a great month before the last one. We're happy and we move on."

It wasn't just MK Dons' quality but their physicality too. Hyde looked tired. It looked comfortable for MK Dons. It was a great occasion for Hyde. They will go home with a lot of good memories.

Notts County are into the second round after coming from 2-0 down to beat Bristol Rovers 4-2.

And Port Vale beat Oxford 2-0.
