That's a signal of intent from Nuno Espirito Santo.

The Wolves boss has brought on striker Benik Afobe for defender Roderick Miranda at half-time.

Miranda clumsily gave away the penalty in the first half. Nuno clearly wasn't impressed.

Horrible start for Reading to the second half but exactly what Aston Villa would have wanted.

Birkir Bjarnason curls in a lovely finish past Vito Manone from Robert Snodgrass' lay-off and Steve Bruce punches the air in delight.

    Garry Monk is working wonders.

Matthew Walmsley: No contest - Bradley Dack. He's been so good he should be on the plane to Russia

Ben Whitaker: Without doubt, the League One Player of the Season has to Bradley Dack from Blackburn Rovers - goals, assists, megs, tricks - signed for just £750k!!

Gregory's Goals: John Terry has been brill, still good enough to start for + captain England in the World Cup if Gareth can persuade him.

Bit of a spicey end to the first half at Craven Cottage after four minutes added time.

A few meaty challenges going in from all angles but Fulham have the lead at the interval from a scrappy Kevin McDonald goal.

Not a great night for the Welsh so far at a somewhat muted Villa Park.

Villa boss Steve Bruce's five changes included the recall of left back Neil Taylor, who was clearly not picked for his shooting. His hopelessly skewed left-foot effort from the edge of the penalty area ended up crossing the whitewash not over the byline, but the Villa right touchline, having bent round some 25 yards from the comer flag.

But an even worse fate then befell his Wales international team-mate Dave Edwards, who looked harshly red carded for the second of two mistimed, rather than malicious challenges.

Maybe playing against 10 men will charge Villa, who have rather gone "off the boil" just at the wrong time, back into life?

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 British Summer Time 3 April 2018

    Wolves 1-1 Hull

A tale of two penalties in that first half.

Diogo Jota opened the scoring for Championship leaders Wolves before David Meyler equalised from the spot.

Not too much to separate the two sides.

    Wolves 1-1 Hull

Hull are full of confidence after that equaliser.

Roderick Miranda blocks an effort from Jon Toral and Markus Henriksen's follow up flies off target.

I'm not sure Nuno will be too pleased with what he's seen from his side in the last stages of this first half.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:32 British Summer Time 3 April 2018

    Hull are level at Molineux!

Roderick Miranda clumsily tugs back David Meyler and the referee rightly points to the spot.

    Meyler buries the resulting penalty.

    Kevin McDonald (33 mins)

Fulham ahead finally at Craven Cottage!

Not that Kevin McDonald knew that much about it to be fair.

Corner form the left and somehow it landed on his head and then via a couple of deflections into the bottom corner. He looks a touch embarrassed that he's on the scoresheet but the home fans don't really care.
