Callum Hopkins: Was thinking about going to see some Highland League games today but the Scottish Football Association have locked down our non-league matches too, shame as it would have drawn in some bumper crowds this weekend.

Daniel Pentland: More than half and hour to go and the attendance is huge at Northern Premier Division club South Shields. The club are expecting 3,000 and nobody is worried about coronavirus, all the talk is football.

The Match of the Day social media account asked earlier how you'd be feeling your Saturday. Here are some of the replies...

Josh: Perfect time to go support your non-league teams. The most enjoyable teams I’ve seen are in the National League North and Central League Premier (sixth and seventh tiers). Fully recommend going!

Martin Lee: Off down to The Shay to watch Halifax Town's promotion push. They are letting season ticket holders of Premier League and EFL clubs in for a tenner, if any want to catch a match.

Craig Peter Dodd: I’m off to watch Maidenhead United v Stockport... live 10 minutes away from York Road and I need my football fix.

´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Cumbria are covering Workington's game away at Tadcaster Albion, who are playing their first match since their ground was under water following Storm Ciara.

The club have put the visiting commentary team in their sponsors box today as they have no press box and their sponsors, who were coming over from Norway, have been unable to travel because of coronavirus.

    That game was a 14:00 kick-off and it's currently 1-1.

There won't be any Premier League football until 4 April at the earliest, with all English top-flight football suspended until that date.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi both tested positive for coronavirus earlier this week, while several clubs have been affected with players or staff in self-isolation.

A statement said: "Despite the challenges, it is the Premier League's aim to reschedule the displaced fixtures, including those played by academy sides, when it is safe to do so."

Fixtures in the Championship, League One and League Two have been postponed, with no games taking place in the English Football League until at least 3 April.

A statement said: "Whilst the EFL board has continued to take the advice and guidance offered by the government and its health advisors, emerging developments mean now is the time to implement football’s contingency plans in response to the crisis.

"A further update on these plans will be given post an EFL board meeting next week.

"This decision has not been taken lightly, but the EFL must prioritise the health and well-being of players, staff and supporters while also acknowledging the government’s national efforts in tackling this outbreak."

Half of the 12 scheduled National League games to be played in this round of fixtures have been postponed.

Leaders Barrow were due to be playing Wrexham today, but the Welsh club reported that a member of their first-team squad had been advised to self-isolate.

  13. National League fixtures continuepublished at 14:05 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2020

The National League board decided at a meeting on Friday for fixtures to proceed as planned this weekend.

The league said: "The National League will keep the operation of its competition under constant and diligent review, and will remain in compliance with government advice at all times.

"The Football Association has offered its guidance, and made it clear the decision to continue or to suspend a competition is a matter for each league to make.

"The National League places the welfare and well-being of all those involved in and connected to its competition as the highest priority."

These are unprecedented times for English football - but not every show in town has been cancelled.

Despite the Premier League and English Football League both being suspended until at least 3 April, further down the pyramid there are still games to be played.

For fans of some National League clubs, it's business as usual.

    For now, at least.
