    Brentford 1-0 Fulham

Well it has taken 45 minutes but Fulham have finally shown up. Brentford can barely get a touch of the ball at the moment.

Ademola Lookman is a big part of that, scampering after every loose ball and pressuring any Brentford player in possession.

  2. Postpublished at 53 mins

    Brentford 1-0 Fulham

Fulham put the Brentford defence under pressure again and win a free kick around 30 yards from goal.

Neeskens Kebano understandably fancies it after hitting the post in the first half but this time he bends it just wide.

  3. CLOSE!published at 51 mins

    Brentford 1-0 Fulham

Brilliant save by David Raya as he gets a hand to Neeskens Kebano's shot from the middle of the box.

Better from Fulham with Ademola Lookman looking lively already.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 49 mins

    Brentford 1-0 Fulham

Tariqe Fosu goes in the book for a late challenge.

Fulham had just three touches in the Brentford area in the first half. Big attacking improvement needed.

  5. Jota starts for Liverpoolpublished at 18:37 British Summer Time 1 October 2020

    Liverpool v Arsenal (19:45 BST)

Liverpool have gone early and named their side well before the standard 60 minutes before kick-off.

The big news is Diogo Jota makes his first start for the Reds. Virgil van Dijk and Mo Salah also start.

  6. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Brentford 1-0 Fulham

Ademola Lookman is on for Fulham. Scott Parker clearly felt his side needed a bit of a shake up after a poor first half. Josh Onomah is the player to make way.

The second half is up and running.

    Brentford 1-0 Fulham

No shots on target for Fulham in that first half. Scott Parker can't have been happy with much from his side's display. Nervous in defence, toothless in attack.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 18:19 British Summer Time 1 October 2020

    Brentford 1-0 Fulham

Aboubakar Kamara drives over the bar before the whistle goes for half time.

    Brentford have the edge.

    Brentford 1-0 Fulham

Two minutes of time added on at the end of the first half.

We've had a goal at least but it hasn't been the most thrilling of halves. Even the fake crowd sounds bored.

Fulham lose the ball from their own throw in.

Some really sloppy moments from the Premier League side in this half.

´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 5 live football reporter at Brentford Community Stadium

That might liven things up here, Brentford have never reached the quarter finals and this looks a really good chance now.

Scott Parker is pacing round his technical area arms folded, big half time team talk ahead for him.

    Brentford 1-0 Fulham

Easy to see why Fulham are desperate to sign some more defenders. They have had some very shaky moments at the back and no real surprise that they find themselves behind.

Jean Michael Seri loses possession again just inside his own half but Michael Hector sweeps up for his team-mate.

Not much happening in this game so let's have a look at the team news for the 19:00 BST kick off...

  19. Postpublished at 35 mins

    Brentford 0-0 Fulham

Emilano Marcondes thumps the ball into the net but the whistle had already gone for a foul. That was a bit lucky for Fulham because they made a real mess of trying to clear the ball from their box.

  20. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Brentford 0-0 Fulham

Terrible kick by Brentford goalkeeper David Raya as he kicks the ball straight to Jean Michael Seri, who quickly finds Anthony Knockaert but the forward blasts wide.
