So that is the last full round of EFL league fixtures all wrapped up with a metaphorical bow, in time for Christmas.

Norwich top the tree like a bright yellow star, in the Championship, while League One leaders Portsmouth can still be caught by Doncaster if they win in midweek, so can't count themelves top just yet.

Newport have the honour of topping League Two over the festive period.

We know it won't be the same Christmas for many of us, and today's announcements from the government might have forced a change of plans.

Hope you can still enjoy the big day, and hopefully you'll be with us on Boxing Day, when EFL football is always part of the festivities. At least some things won't change.

    Take care, and Merry Christmas.
