Robert Lewandowski will fight his corner when the ball gets to him but it's all about supplying him from the wings.

It's not complicated; it's simple stuff - but Poland haven't had enough possession to do it yet.

You're looking at Kanno and saying "go for it - you've had a shot already." Saudi Arabia look very good on the break.

This is better from Poland. They've managed to get their foot on the ball and pass it around a bit and take some of the sting out of Saudi Arabia.

However, part of that success comes from Robert Lewandowski dropping in the right-back position.

He almost gets in over the top to be fair, but it is snuffed out by Saudi.

Poland are the first side to receive as many as three yellow cards in the opening 20 minutes of a World Cup match since Italy against Mexico in 2002 (9 mins).

The Saudi Arabia assistant coach has been shown a yellow card now.

That's five and counting.

So close to the opener!

The corner is met by Krystian Bielik and he powers a header towards goal.

Fortunately for Saudi Saleh Al Shehri is in the way and glances it over the bar.

The keeper may have had it covered behind him to be fair.

Glik didn't look very good just now but he got the header in. Before that, he had his hands all over the man he was marking.

I'm looking down at Saudi Arabia and saying "can you keep that going?" There's no sign of that weakening - they're getting stronger.

Poland look lumpen. I expected more, but I'm not sure why - they didn't look particularly good against Mexico.

Matty Cash does really well to retrieve a loose ball and win Poland a corner.

This might be their best chance of a goal at the moment.

Poland just can't get out at the moment. Every time they try and clear it is either blocked or it comes straight back.

We talk about Robert Lewandowski not scoring in four World Cup games, but he has had zero service so far. Absolutely zero.

He might have a point as Matty Cash's elbow catches Mohammed Al Burayk in the neck region.

It's really surprising how little Poland have offered - very, very little.

When the other team are quicker, sharper and more up for it, it will get frustrating for Poland.

Poland are rattled here. They can't get their foot on the ball or build any momentum whatsoever.

Arkadiusz Milik is the third Polish player in the book in the last five minutes for a needless tug back deep in the Saudi half.

The resulting free-kick is collected easily by Wojciech Szczesny.

That's a bit of a waste from Saudi.

Kanno has left a whole bunch of players in his wake. There must have been four of them trying to stop him - it was brilliant play in the midfield. He's made the break and still had the wherewithal to get his shot on target with real power.

Saudi Arabia finished the game with some really good chances against Argentina and they've finished this game just as well.

Talking of Matty Cash.

He joins his mate in the book after a late tackle on Salem Al Dawsari.

I suspect we'll see Saudi target him even more now.

Saudi Arabia really are looking to get in down the left in the early stages. As mentioned earlier, Matty Cash is being kept very busy at right-back for Poland.

Jakub Kiwior tries to snap in infront of Saleh Al Shehri but is late and brings down the Saudi forward.

Cue loud whistles from the Saudi-heavy crowd.

Brilliant from Wojciech Szczesny.

Saudi Arabia attack down the right and it is laid back for Mohammed Kanno on the right-hand side of the area.

He whips towards goal and former Arsenal keeper Szczesny tips it over the bar.

The corner comes to nothing.

Every time Saudi Arabia attack or put in a tackle there is a huge volume of noise. There is an immense clapping chant going on at the moment.

Robert Lewandowski thinks he's through on goal but the referee has blown up for a foul against Matty Cash.

We're yet to see a real chance.

The Poles aren't enjoying this. It feels like a home game for Saudi Arabia. Poland have to survive this for 15-to-20 minutes, and then they can build themselves into the game.

I think the referee enjoys being on camera.
