Morocco did exceptionally well.

Well-organised, energetic, well-drilled, pressed well.

Second half, they stayed organised and made it difficult for Croatia. 0-0 is a fair result.

There was one 0-0 draw in 64 matches at the 2018 World Cup but we've had three in the last four games here.

It was a game Morocco will probably feel they should have won. Croatia were pretty poor.

Based on this display I'm not convinced Croatia will be reaching a second successive final, but it is early days.

We had a huge shock yesterday with Saudi Arabia beating Argentina but we are on course for a third goalless draw in the four games since then.

Morocco haven't created many opportunities, for all their hard work and endeavour.

Ziyech has been very quiet in this second half.

Abde Ezzalzouli goes down a bit too easily on the left side of the Croatia box as he tries to get between two players. The referee is wise to it and waves play on.

You can feel the nerves from the fans around the arena. It’s as if both sides are holding something back to avoid risking committing too many men forward and leaving themselves vulnerable. It’s a typical first game of a group stage. Morocco look extremely solid but I have a feeling Croatia are going to go up a gear in the last 10 minutes.

A double change for Morocco as attacking midfielder Abdelhamid Sabiri, who played in the Premier League for Huddersfield, comes on for Azzedine Ounahi.

Striker Youssef En-Nesyri also makes way for Abderrazak Hamdallah.

It feels like Morocco are going for all three points.
