Chelsea are enjoying perhaps their best spell of the match, keeping the ball nicely and actually having some possession in the Barcelona half.

It does tell you how dominant Barcelona have been that that's notable.

A rare foray forward from Chelsea and they work it well.

The ball is slid in to Guro Reiten on the left side of the Barcelona box, she puts in a low cross but Sam Kerr can't get on the end of it.

More encouraging for Chelsea, though.

I'm not sure exactly how many touches Sam Kerr has had so far for Chelsea but I'd be shocked if it was into double digits.

It's been a tough night for the striker so far.

More good play from Aitana Bonamati - as Emma says, she's been at the heart of everything for Barcelona - and her shot is deflected behind for a corner.

It's not cleared at the first attempt by Chelsea but, eventually, they scramble it away.

Albeit momentarily before another wave of Barcelona attack rolls in.

Ann-Katrin Berger is OK to carry on and play is back under way.

It's Barcelona quickly on the attack but Jess Carter does well to stop Fridolina Rolfo getting a cross in from the left.

Every time the ball goes down the left, Jess Carter has no issue kicking it away and allowing Chelsea to reset. Chelsea look a little bit weaker down this left-hand side though.

It's still 0-0. In half an hour they've done well, they've done really, really well. Now it's about the decision making.

Ann-Katrin Berger is down for Chelsea. Genuine injury or a ploy to let Emma Hayes have a word with her players and give them a breather?

All I'll say is that the Chelsea manager had an iPad in her hand and ready to go the moment the referee blew for the stoppage.

Aitana Bonmati showing why she is one of the best players in the world with that piece of skill in the box. Plenty of "ahh"s around me. She's been unstoppable so far. Everything is going through her.

The midfielder then puts a low ball in but Melanie Leupolz is there to clear.

Chelsea's patient approach in possession is only getting them so far.

Barcelona are happy to let them have it up to a certain point but as soon as the visitors try to move past the halfway line they're coming up against a brick wall.

It was well-worked. That's the Barcelona we have come to see for a number of years now.

Bonmatí leaves it for Caldentey and the goal just opens up. That's the connection they have, the give and goes, it's very smooth

Just as I was about to say that Chelsea have done well to limit Barcelona's chances in the last few minutes, the hosts create another one.

Caroline Graham Hansen cuts the ball back from the right byline, Aitana Bonamati dummies it and Maria Caldentey blazes a very good chance over the bar.

I think it was a telling sign of Chelsea's gameplan that when Erin Cuthbert got the ball a few moments ago, she stopped and checked back rather than trying to hit Barcelona on the break.

It takes Chelsea so long to win it back that when they have it, they want to keep it. So far, so good. But they need to score at some point.

Barcelona have a mid-block so they don't go chasing and high pressing. Yes, they can be long and direct [Chelsea], but they're not forcing it every time they win the ball back.

Asisat Oshoala tries to get onto a ball over the top but Maren Mjelde gets across well, making the challenge at the expense of a corner.

The set piece comes to nothing.

Chelsea are trying to get on the ball and show some patience in possession before Erin Cuthbert tries to send Guro Reiten away down the left. The pass is cut out and Barcelona move forward again.

Still, a little over 20 minutes gone and Chelsea are still in this tie. Just.

I think it helps coming into the game when you're the underdog.

All credit to them, they haven't looked nervous or had any shaky moments.

Guro Reiten is the first player into the book for a late challenge on Irene Paredes.

Slightly harsh as the Chelsea player may have got a nudge after beating one challenge as the visitors tried to break.
