Bolton and Barnsley drew 1-1 in the first leg of their League One semi-final in the first game earlier today.

Nicky Cadden had sent the Tykes ahead at the University of Bolton Stadium, but Dion Charles' leveller means it will be evens stevens at Oakwell on Friday.

In the Championship play-offs, Sunderland came from behind to beat Luton 2-1 at the Stadium of Light after Amad Diallo's curling strike and Trai Hume's header for the Black Cats after Elijah Adebayo sent the Hatters ahead.

Now Salford take a one-goal lead into their second leg against Stockport.

We saw the better version of Stockport County for only 20 minutes of the second half really.

Salford's players maxed out for the whole game but I think there will be a tinge of regret amongst the squad that they only got one goal tonight.

All over at the Peninsula Stadium.

Salford take a one-goal lead into the second leg against Stockport at Edgeley Park.

Matt Smith's first half goal was all that separated the sides but Stockport never realistically threatened an equaliser.

But can the Hatters use home advantage to overturn the Ammies' first leg lead?

Another Salford change.

Matt Smith comes off. Callum Morton takes his place.

Four minutes are added on.

Stockport win a corner. Salford clear that Stockport corner.

The same old story.

Jeers go up as Stockport try to play the ball back into the box and, in the process, concede a goal kick.

It's taken until almost 90 minutes but Salford finally make a change.

Callum Hendry and Conor McAleny are replaced by Matty Lund and Louie Barry.

Connor Lemonheigh-Evans weaves his way into the Salford box but the Stockport man is thwarted by Theo Vassell.

The ball falls into the path of Ryan Rydel who fires towards goal and wins a corner, which is immediately dealt with by the hosts.

Desperate stuff now.

Luke Bolton's just put a, let's say, robust challenge on Ryan Rydel.

The Salford man receives a talking to and Stockport win a free-kick in a dangerous area.

It's floated across the face of goal to Akil Wright who heads into the side netting.

Another change for Stockport.

Jack Stretton comes off and is replaced by Aaron Rowe.

Not long left on the clock.

Elliot Watt looks for Luke Bolton in the Stockport box as Salford pile on the pressure.

But the visitors deal with the danger once more.

Ibou Touray puts in a tremendous sliding tackle to deny Stockport on the right wing.

It's just not going to plan for Dave Challinor's side right now.
