Credit to La Rochelle, by the way, who knew they couldn't afford to draw this game and went for the corner rather than taking three points at the end.

Also, Glasgow conceded 15 penalties and still managed to win. They'll not do that very often!

It was a titanic struggle and it showed everything good about the Champions Cup. Someone owes Ali Price a few beers for that match winning tackle. In that dressing room they will be buzzing.

What an amazing game of rugby from two sides who wanted to play. It was scrappy at times. Glasgow stayed in the fight, and they possibly only deserve it for the hunger they showed in the second half. They got the job done and they are right in this pool now.

Incredible finish as Kevin Gourdon knocks on!

What a sensational, breathless, astonishing finish. Glasgow were outplayed for long spells but stole a couple of tries and grew into the game.

It looked as though they might have thrown it away at the end when their scrum buckled, but their defence stood tall and has kept them alive in the Champions Cup.

Glasgow have held up the maul! The clock's gone red, what a defensive effort! There's going to be time for the scrum, though...I need a lie down.

Oh dear. Matt Fagerson's tackle on Kevin Gourdon is fine, but then his arms ride up and he grapples him round the neck. It's a penalty and La Rochelle go for the corner rather than settle for the draw...it's tense!

Incredible try-saving tackle by Ali Price on Vincent Rattez!!! But the danger's not over....

Glasgow have a scrum on La Rochelle's 10m line after the home side knock on. It's a chance to turn the screw, but they are penalised! Now La Rochelle can kick up the field.

No, is the answer. Seymour raced after a kick through but knocks it on as he competes with Vincent Rattez to touch it down. So, La Rochelle will have a scrum 5m from their own line...

Adam Hastings has been guilty of some loose kicking in this match but that cross-field pass-kick was bang on the money for Kyle Steyn.

There was still plenty for Steyn to do and that was a fantastic finish.

This is gutsy stuff from Glasgow. What a boost this would be if they can get over the line in this match.

La Rochelle spill the ball, it's pounced on by Glasgow and eventually Sam Johnson slices a kick into touch. Not ideal, but at least it made it out!
