Throughout the trial, 大象传媒 Suffolk's Alison Acton was one of our reporters at Ipswich Crown Court. She's put together five tributes to the murdered women.

Gemma Adams

The 25 year old was the second woman to be reported as missing - on 15 November 2006. Her body was the first to be found, at Hintlesham, on 2 December.

Gemma grew up in Kesgrave to the east of Ipswich. Her family say she was bright and bubbly, but she was lost to drugs at around the age of 17.

She lost her job at an insurance company before turning to prostitution.

Anneli Alderton

The 24 year old was found at Nacton on 10 December 2006, before she'd been reported missing. Anneli grew up in Ipswich but had moved to Colchester. The last pictures of her were on a train from Harwich bound for Ipswich.

A fellow Copleston High School pupil Rachel said: "She changed her personality once she went to high school. She went from bubbly to someone who was always trying to get money.

"She started smoking cannabis around the age of 14. I never saw her getting into harder drugs, but I saw her later when she was on them."

The pair were in prison together, but Rachel remembers a kind woman: "She came running up to me at a hostel about three weeks before she died and hugging me - really chuffed to see me."

Anneli had a son and was three months pregnant when she died.

Paula Clennell

"I just remember the kind, loving [girl]" said Paula's father Brian after she disappeared on 10 December while working in Ipswich.听 Her body was found two days later at Levington near Ipswich.

The 24 year old hailed from the north east and her father lives in Berwick in Northumberland. She had three children.

Tania Nicol

The 19 year old was the first woman to be reported as missing. She disappeared on 30 October 2006. Her body was found on 8 December at Copdock.

Neither of her parents realised she was working as a prostitute. Her father Jim Duell said: "She done well at school and she had lots of friends. She never had any trouble at school - only when she got to around 13 or 14.

"Someone at the Chantry school said she went with a different crowd. As far as I was aware she was a happy, outgoing girl.

"I think there's a lot of parents who don't know the full character of their son or daughter. It's a shame that she got mixed up in the drugs, because ultimately the drugs brought about her end."

Annette Nicholls

The 29 year old was found dead close to Paula Clennell at Levington on 12 December 2006.

One of her schoolfriends, Sarah, said: "She was always smiley. She was intelligent. She was a generally nice person.

"It has hit Gainsborough [in Ipswich] quite hard."
