We're constantly being advised to cut down our carbon footprint and be more selective when buying all sorts of goods. However, when Dave, who lives in Brantham, went out looking for a new telly, he realised how much electricity is being used by shops which have rows of screens on. He's using his film to suggest shops need to have a rethink - and the rest of us need to demand it. last updated: 21/05/2008 at 12:20 Have Your SayCan shops really turn everything off - or would you not go in anymore?
what a good idea to have the energy labels displayed on t.v. and shops should only have one of each kind on display, they can always switch one on when a customer wants to see it,well done dave, just imagine the power used all over the country
i totally agree with this comment it should be pursued on a more popular program SEE ALSOYou are in: Suffolk > People > Video Nation > The power of TV |
