First Tattoo
Rob has been thinking about getting
a tattoo for four years and he's finally decided to take the plunge. He's
a little bit nervous but at least it starts off relatively pain free.

The
music at the beginning sounded a bit like the intro to the remake of mad
world that featured in Donnie Darko, good choice if it was. Tattoos have
intrigued me for a while having heard how painful there are but no pain
no gain eh. The buzzing in the back ground really focusses you on whats
actually happening - good to see what really happens.

Am pleased that bbc decided to show people what tattooing involves, when
I had my tattoo done I dont remember pain but it was sore for half hour
afterwards! hope you are happy with the result Rob.

Mark, Cambridge... thanks for your comments. No I wouldnt have walked half
way.. in fact the whole tatt took just over 4 hours. It was something I
had really carefully thought over for years; and discussed fully with the
tattoo artist. Although you see me wincing and indeed yelping, for much
of the time there was no real pain - just a burning sort of sensation. I
am really happy with the finished product!

the clip very much, at least you were honest about the pain! I have always
wanted a few tatts but have always shyed away due to their permanancy and
the pain. Good clip.

Amazing, I had my tattoo done by Jason Butcher too. I used relaxation techniques
and had little pain. Its worth it for the result anyway!
