The Inside Story
We spoke to Graham Thomas from 大象传媒 Research & Development to find out more about this immersive 360 experience
This immersive project places you in Edinburgh during festival time and lets you decide where you want to go and what you want to see.
What's special about it?
It's a 360 video experience that runs directly on a desktop or mobile web browser (including in headsets such as Cardboard or GearVR) and lets you make choices as to what you want to see. This technology is something new for us.
Why should people give it a go?
Because it's really quick and easy to try and there are some great performances that we've captured, including a lot of exclusive one-to-ones.
What do you hope people will get out of it?
We hope that they will get a sense of the serendipity and variety of the Edinburgh Festivals. We want them to feel like they have actually been there.
