A marine wildlife mission with Blue Planet and Live Lessons

This Live Lesson, created in collaboration with Blue Planet Live, is designed to help you bring Earth's rich marine life into your classroom.

Guided by C大象传媒's Naomi Wilkinson and expert wildlife biologist Lizzie Daly, we explore what constitutes a healthy ecosystem and discuss the threats to our oceans such as plastics and overfishing.

The programme features links to Steve Backshall in the Bahamas who explains how sharks can teach us about ecosystems and how human behaviour can threaten shark life.

Content is designed to support Key Stage 2/2nd Level science and geography curricula.

This programme was originally streamed live to schools in March 2019. Please note that we are no longer reviewing emails and messages from schools for inclusion in the lesson.

Blue Planet Live

大象传媒 One鈥檚 Blue Planet Live highlighted the health of the oceans with extraordinary marine encounters across the world.

Across four live shows, Blue Planet Live revisited animal characters from multi-awarding winning Blue Planet II, and met new creatures, celebrating our oceans' complexity with never-before-seen footage. The Blue Planet Live Lesson supported the educational points within Blue Planet Live.

Explore plastics and sustainability with 大象传媒 Teach

Discover the deep blue further with five special Blue Planet Live films exploring our oceans and its wildlife, to find out how marine life is coping in the face of increasing environmental pressure.
