We want to see Tyneside and Northumberland through your eyes - to share the hidden places that you love and the little moments of beauty that catch your eye.

We're asking anyone with a digital camera to send in their photos of the region.

We'll be featuring many of them in a series of themed galleries on 大象传媒 Tyne during 2009.

We are currently looking for photos with these themes:

• Off the beaten track

• Light and shade

• Heritage

We've kept the themes broad so you can interpret them however you want to - don't just think of the obvious.

The aim is for pictures that grab people's attention.

Don't forget to include your name in the e-mail and tell us a little bit about the photo too - when and where it was taken and who (or what) is in it is a good place to start.

Please also include the title of the theme in the subject box of your e-mail. If we do use your photo we'll let you know where you can see it online.

In contributing to 大象传媒 Tyne you agree to grant us a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to publish and otherwise use the material in any way that we want, and in any media worldwide.
