Whether you鈥檙e a child, parent or guardian, first make sure you鈥檙e not already signed in to a 大象传媒 account on the device you are using.
How to check if you鈥檙e already signed in
1. Look at the top of this page. Do you see either 鈥淵our account鈥 or a display name next to the 大象传媒 logo? That means you鈥檙e already signed in to another 大象传媒 account.
2. Click 鈥淵our account鈥 or the display name.
3. On the following page, click 鈥淪ign out鈥. If you鈥檙e on a mobile you may need to click 鈥淢enu鈥 first.
Then register for a child account
Once you鈥檙e signed out of any other 大象传媒 accounts, you can set up a child account. Here鈥檚 how:
1. On any 大象传媒 website, click on 鈥淪ign in鈥 at the top of the page. You鈥檒l find it near the 大象传媒 logo.
2. On the next screen, click on 鈥淩egister now鈥.
3. Then follow the instructions on the screen to fill in your details.
4. If you鈥檙e under 13 years old, you鈥檒l have to ask your parent or guardian to create a 大象传媒 account for you. You鈥檒l need to choose a username and a password. Be sure to remember these. If you forget your password, you won鈥檛 be able to reset it. That means you'll have to ask your parent or guardian to register a new account.
Putting parents in control
Once they've registered for a 大象传媒 account, children under 13 will need permission from a parent or guardian before they can do things like:
- Post comments on 大象传媒 children鈥檚 websites
- Get personalised recommendations and pick up shows where they left off
- Receive notifications about things they like
- Upload contributions for competitions, games and more
