1974: Rosa Parks talks about her arrest

In December 1955 in Montgomery, Alabama, Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a segregated bus to a white man, and was arrested. The incident would become one of the most iconic and significant moments in the US Civil Rights Movement.

Rosa Parks explains why she made her stand, and her attorney Fred Gray discusses how her case inspired the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
