This report was one of a number filed by journalist Austin Mitchell in the year that he worked for the 大象传媒 while taking a break from his duties at Yorkshire Television for ITV. He joined Yorkshire in 1969 and continued to work there until 1977 presenting the local news programme Calendar. He became the Member of Parliament for Great Grimsby after a by-election in 1977.
