1980: Sue Brown aims to become first woman in Boat Race

After coxing Great Britain's Women's Coxed four at the 1980 Moscow Olympics, Sue Brown has set her sights becoming the first woman to compete in The Boat Race. She is competing for the role of cox on the Oxford team against three men.

Brown went on to secure the role of Oxford cox in the 1981 Boat Race, and steered them to an 8 length victory over Cambridge.
