2007: UK struck by storms
Eleven people died as gales and heavy downpours hit the UK on 18 January 2007.
The storms were the worst the UK had seen in 17 years, with gusts reaching up to 100mph.
Thousands of homes were left without power and flights were cancelled across the UK.
