2007: Rainfall causes massive flooding
Heavy rainfall causes massive flooding throughout the UK in June 2007.
It proved to be one of the wettest summers on record, with 414mm of rain across England and Wales from May to July.
Later flooding left thousands of homes without power and many families were forced to flee their properties.
