1982: English cricket rebels in three-year ban
Rebel English cricketers in South Africa were barred from playing for England for three years, in March 1982.
Twelve cricketers, 11 of them with Test caps, had agreed in secret to take part in a one-month tour of the country.
South Africa were banned from international cricket between 1970 and 1991 because of the country's apartheid laws.
