2003: Saddam Hussein's sons killed in Iraq
Saddam Hussein鈥檚 two sons, Uday and Qusay, were killed by US troops in Iraq in July 2003.
The bodies of the two men were identified after 200 US soldiers, backed by helicopters, stormed a house in the northern city of Mosul following a tip-off from an Iraqi informant.
Uday and Qusay Hussein were among the most influential and feared figures in the Iraqi leader鈥檚 regime.
