How many can remember the bomb on display in the foyer of the old Aberdare Co-operative store? As kids, we used to be able to buy a stamp from the kiosk in the Co-op to stick on the bomb as part of the War Effort. As children we thought that the bomb was REAL, and would eventually be dropped on Hitler.
