In the late Sixties, Beatles roadie Mal Evans was largely responsible for persuading John Lennon and Paul McCartney of The Beatles to listen to The Iveys, a band from Swansea.

Here Tom Evans, whose fatherhad a connection with McCartney's own father, recalls getting in with The Beatles during the Sgt Peppers period and how they were eventually signed to Apple.

This clip is taken from the ´óÏó´«Ã½ documentary Without You: The Story Of Badfinger, narrated by James Dean Bradfield.
