The Kenyan government is planning to carry out a census of the country's gay men.
In an exercise that will cost about 500,000 dollars, the census aim is to try and reach this vulnerable group in the fight against HIV and Aids.
The National Aids and STD Control Programme (Nascop) says that gay men are at a high risk of HIV infection.
But with homosexuality being illegal in Kenya, will this target group come out and be counted? Gladys Njoroge reports from Nairobi.
