Prince Yormie Johnson was one of the most prominent names at the start of Liberia's devastating civil war in 1989.
He was a top commander under the then rebel leader Charles Taylor, but he broke away and entered Monrovia, where he captured the dictator, Samuel Doe.
Mr Johnson went on to supervise the brutal torture and killing of President Doe.
Since then, he has turned himself around; he's become a Christian evangelist and a senator in Liberia.
Prince Johnson has now announced that he wants run in the country's presidential elections next year.
