World Cup Cultural Programme

As the World Cup gets underway, South African satirist Pieter-Dirk Uys gives The Strand his unique take on the Cultural Programme.

This year the programme includes parties, concerts, cultural events and even the odd bit of football!

Plus everything from a tap dancing musical about the South African countryside to theatre productions in remote rural communities.

Pieter also tells us why he's declared his own theatre a 'football free zone'.
