We're on 大象传媒 World News TV at 1500GMT and 1830GMT and on 大象传媒 World Service radio at 1700 and 1800GMT. So no shortage of space which is just as well considering the myriad of moral issues being raised by the raid that led to Osama bin Laden's death.
Osama bin Laden wasn't armed when he was shot dead. The Archbishop of Canterbury says he's 'uncomfortable' with what happened, suggesting that it's hard for 'justice to be seen to be done' when someone is killed in such circumstances.
Do you agree?
Or did you just want Bin Laden dead however that was achieved? Is your answer affected by news that al Qaeda appears to have been planning further attacks on America.
President Obama justified not releasing photos of Bin Laden's body by saying 'it's not who we are'. I wonder what we have learned from this raid about what America is?
Also, if waterboarding produced information that led to the raid, do you think such methods have now been justified?
And, if America had doubts about the Pakistan intelligence agency, was it justified in failing to tell Pakistan before carrying out the raid?
One other thought: If President Bush had ordered this raid rather than President Obama, do you think he'd have received more criticism from the media?
Book your call early for the radio and the TV as the level of response to this story is astonishing.

In this case, no matter what course the USA took, someone would have deemed it unfair, a miscarriage of justice and America using its influence to control the world. It was best to present it as a fait accompli, as President Obama has done.

It is high time America ended its Super Power exhibitionism. America is safer with Osama alive than dead. Aliyu Umaru, Esq. Kaduna, Nigeria.

I would have liked to hear Bin Laden's story of why he turned against the West. The 'terrorists' have won as soon as we practice 'an eye for an eye". Isn't it time to look in the mirror?

You cant kill an unarmed man, its wrong. Osama was a bad guy, but where do you set the limit? Could the Libyan government come to the USA and shoot President Obama for attacking Libya?

The victims of 9/11 nor 7/7 had the privilege of "Due Process of Law" OBL didn鈥檛 deserve it at all.
Where are Pakistani priorities?
The US should pull all future funding.

Justice has been done, taking him into custody would have fueled greater anger within the muslim world. Let us not forget that this was an evil twisted individual devoid of humanity. Adam in Riyadh, KSA

What about Due Process?
How much more credit for USA had he been taken alive and tried by a Court? If you can justify his deliberate assassination - don鈥檛 pretend that he resisted and the troops had no choice!

The attack on the world trade buildings were carried out on unarmed, innocent people without remorse, so why should we have remorse in the manner bin laden was killed?

Who is debating the 3000 that died in the twin towers. They were unarmed but their life still got snuffed out by Al Qaeda But now, why is killing Osama is been debated? Armed or unarmed he should be killed, it's justice for all the innocent he kills.
