Deep Joshi, Ramon Magsaysay Award winner

The Ramon Magsaysay Awards are Asia's equivalent to the Nobel Prize.

Among the six winners this year was the Indian social activist Deep Joshi, recognised for his pioneering work in the development of rural communities.

He's been credited with improving the professionalism of NGO work in India.

Suhail Haleem of the ´óÏó´«Ã½'s Urdu Service caught up with the man and his work.
