When Wang Zhiqiu stood in the rubble of the Sichuan earthquake he couldn't help but break down in tears.
But dealing with natural disasters is something he's become accustomed to: Wang Zhiqiu is China's leading search and rescue expert
Wang is Director of the Chinese International Search and Rescue Team.
One of his first challenges, after being appointed in 2004, was to help in Indonesia with the aftermath of the tsunami.
Then eighteen months ago, he took his team to China's Sichuan Province to help victims of the earthquake.
Wang Zhiqiu spoke to Matthew Bannister - he told him about the emotional impact of his work and the scene he found after the tsunami.
