Charity workers in the Mekong Delta have expressed concern at the number of children drowning in the area's frequent floo ds.

So now organisations like Save the Children are working with local schools to give swimming lessons to young students in danger.

This is just one example of how people in th e region are adapting to the increasingly erratic weather.

Outlook reporter Jane Chambers met some of the children learning to swim as she travelled down the Mekong River, and she also sent this short video.
