Eric Obuh leads a double life - he performs as a hip hop rapper known as Voca Slender, but he also earns his way as a scavenger on one of Africa's biggest rubbish dumps.

Eric spends his days picking through rubbish on the Olusosun dump in the Nigerian city of Lagos.

The money he earns searching for scrap to sell funds his dream to become a singing super star.

Until now neither Eric's music industry friends or his family knew about his other life working at the dump.

But Eric is now the subject of a new ´óÏó´«Ã½ TV series so he agreed to blow his cover by speaking to Outlook about his double existence.

Welcome to Lagos, will be shown in the UK on ´óÏó´«Ã½ 2 at 9pm on 15, 22 and 29 April
