This was given to one of my female ancestors as she was moving to Canada to marry a man in the Navy. He was a cabin boy and back then if you served in the Navy you got a plot of land. He walked miles and miles to find the land he wanted. Ever since then this watch has passed down through the family from lady to lady. It is now back in England.
