This watercolour of Blakeney Point by Thomas Henry Fisher was given to my mother by his daughter. The artist was born in 1889 in Eastwood Nottingham and attended Nottingham art college. He was the illustrator of the Just William books by Richmal Crompton. He also illustrated the Nottingham Evening Paper and Football Post.
