This is a fabric family tree depicting the names of all twelve children in the Searle Family from Lostwithiel. Seven sons were in the first world war. The youngest son lied about his age and never returned. The family tree is made of cotton and is thought to have been painted in Dalhousie, India in 1916. It's likely one of the sons had it made whilst thinking of his famkily back in Cornwall.
