Found this Stone Age hand tool, while digging building foundation's in the Village of Selborne, Hampshire. The stone/flint was at least 40cm below the ground surface.
It fits into the hand perfectly, and you can see how it has been shaped to create a sharp edge for cutting skin and flesh from animals.
20,000 - 200,000 years old ?
Would really like to know more about the object, and get a better idea of how old it is, if that's possible ?
